In an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), patients can have the flexibility to maintain much of daily normal routine while working on maintaining sobriety. Intensive outpatient treatment is a good option for those who do not have the means to leave their job, school, or family for an extended period of time but wants to continue receiving support from therapy groups and to apply the skills they learned during treatment.

At Resurgence, we offer an Intensive Outpatient Program that allows both independence and structure to co-exist so that people can ease back into normal daily life. Clients who undergo our Intensive Outpatient Program are able to participate in therapy and work on their recovery skills while maintaining their life in an outpatient setting and having the freedom to come and go as they please to attend to their responsibilities at school, work or with their families. An important part of participating in our Intensive Outpatient Program is creating positive friendships with fellow recovering individuals who help motivate each other to continue attending 12-step meetings and other programs. This healthy support system allows our clients to avoid temptations that often come up when returning to the outside world.
