Our outpatient drug rehab and alcohol rehab is an alternative treatment option for those who cannot fully commit time for our residential program. It is ideal for people who are employed and cannot leave their jobs, those who have children or other important commitments. Usually, our clients who have finished the residential program begin an outpatient treatment to have the continued support and guidance of our staff.

With our outpatient drug rehab program, patients can visit any Resurgence center for a short amount of time, such as a couple hours or at scheduled intervals like weekly, three times a week or once a month meetings. Our outpatient program integrates evidence based support groups, such as SMART Recovery, and the more traditional spiritual/faith based 12 Step program. Both approaches provide you with education, relapse prevention skills, individual support, and group support. With the skills you learn in the outpatient program you can get sober, remain sober, and take back control of your life.

In the initial intake assessment, our medical staff will determine whether an inpatient or outpatient drug rehab program will be most beneficial for you or your loved one. Usually, clients who have a condition that is not yet severe may not need constant medical supervision and long term rehabilitation in our facility. Outpatient care is best for those who may just need the support system that comes with regular meetings and counseling. Our outpatient program is perfect for busy parents, professionals, and business owners who cannot leave their responsibilities for an extended time. It is not suitable for those who are suffering from chronic addiction to alcohol or drugs and experiencing physical withdrawal symptoms such as shakes, nausea, hallucinations, or seizures.
